a place where you can escape from your tired and busy life for a while.
It's a place where you can present nature to your children for a while and
feel relaxed for adults.
1. 카페 외관(Café Exterior)
카페 외관은 시골과 도시 건축 양식이 매끄럽게 조화를 이루며 세련된 현대적인 소재와 주변 시골의 탁 트인 전망이 잘 어울립니다. 야외 테라스는 푸른 잔디, 고요한 연못, 세련된 조명 설비로 고객에게 편안하고 아늑한 분위기를 선물합니다.
The exterior of the cafe seamlessly blends rural and urban architecture,
combining sleek modern materials with panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.
The outdoor terrace offers a relaxing and cozy atmosphere for customers, with green grass,
a tranquil pond, and stylish lighting fixtures.
2. 카페 내부(Inside the Cafe)
옥담 카페 내부는 프라이빗 룸이 많이 있어 가족들과 또는 지인들과 편안하게 대화할 수 있습니다. 특히, 어린아이들 때문에 타인의 시선이 부담스럽다면 이공간에서 편안한 하루를 보내면 좋겠다는 생각이 들었습니다.
Inside Okdam Cafe,
there are many private rooms where you can have a relaxing conversation
with your family or friends. Especially if you have small children and
feel uncomfortable with other people's eyes,
I thought it would be nice to spend a relaxing day in this space.
3. 정원과 야외테라스(Garden and outdoor terrace)
아이들이 뛰어놀 수 있는 넓은 잔디가 있고, 이를 지켜보면서 차를 마실수 있는 공간이 있습니다. 육아에 지친 부모님들에게 딱 좋은 공간이라 생각이 들었습니다.
There is a large grassy area for children to run around,
and a place to have tea while watching them.
I thought it was the perfect space for tired parents.
4. 메뉴와 음료(Menu and Drinks)
디저트는 따뜻한 크로플 세트가 시그니처 메뉴로 보입니다. 커피와 다양한 음료가 있습니다. 개인적으로 커피맛과 크로플은 맛있다는 생각은 들지 않았습니다.
For dessert, a set of warm croissants seems to be a signature item.
They have coffee and a variety of other drinks.
Personally, I didn't find the coffee flavored and the croffles delicious.
5. 아쉬운 점(Weakness)
커피, 음료, 디저트의 맛과 가격이 아쉬웠습니다. 특별히 맛있다고 생각되지는 않았고, 가격 또한 비샀습니다. 하지만 우리에게 자연과 여유로운 휴식공간을 제공하므로, 이러한 단점이 상쇄 될 수 있다고 생각됩니다.
We were disappointed with the taste and price of the coffee, drinks, and desserts.
We didn't think they were particularly tasty, and they were expensive.
However, we feel that these shortcomings can be offset by the fact that
we are surrounded by nature and a relaxing space to unwind.
6. 맺는말(Concluding Remarks)
육아에 지친 엄마, 아빠에게 여유로운 휴식을 제공하고, 아이들에게 자연에서 뛰어놀 수 있는 경험을 제공할 수 있는 카페로 생각됩니다. 하지만 커피와 디저트의 맛과 가격은 아쉬웠습니다.
The cafe is supposed to provide a relaxing break for
moms and dads who are tired of parenting,
and give children the experience of playing in nature.
However, the taste and price of the coffee and desserts were disappointing.
